Happy Dolls

The idea of original handmade one of a kind Happy ("CHOM-WAN") dolls were conceived by Anothai in January 2008 while visiting her family in Thailand. During her visit she noticed coconut shells around the house, bamboo growing everywhere and Thai silk was readily available. In each coconut shell she saw a child’s face which she accentuated by hand painting the shell. "CHOM-WAN" doll, is a name from the combination of Anothai‘s father, (Chom), and her mother, (Wan). It also means good memories from the past in Thai. Anothai wanted her dolls to represent the love that her family has for each other, and all other people around world.
